KEWOTA’s Commitment to Regional Sports: Supporting Nairobi, Kisumu, and Rift Valley

The Kenya Women Teachers Association (KEWOTA), led by CEO Benter Opande, has recently extended its support to regional sports events across Nairobi, Kisumu, and the Rift Valley. Embracing the ethos of cheerful giving, KEWOTA provided refreshments to participants and organizers in the Nairobi and Kisumu games. Coordinators Josephine Shiro Wa Beata in Nairobi and Rosemary in Kisumu facilitated this initiative, underscoring the organization’s commitment to community engagement and the betterment of education.

In Kisumu, KEWOTA also donated trophies for the County ball games held at Barkorwa Mixed Primary School. This effort, led by County Coordinator Rosemary Adongo, Kisumu West Coordinator Milly Asha, and JSS Chapter Leader Sajni, highlighted KEWOTA’s dedication to promoting youth sports and fostering healthy competition among students. CEO Benter Opande expressed pride in supporting the Kisumu County Ball Games, emphasizing the role of sports in the holistic development of youth.

Additionally, KEWOTA made a significant contribution to the Rift Valley Sports Championship in Nakuru by donating three trophies. The Association’s Chair, Mr. Sang, graciously received the trophies, which were presented by KEWOTA staff member Stanley on behalf of the CEO. Stanley reiterated KEWOTA’s foundation on the principles of giving and humanity.

These contributions were warmly received by participants and organizers across the regions, reflecting KEWOTA’s ongoing commitment to empowering and uplifting young athletes.
