KEWOTA recently launched a highly lauded project for its members. In partnership with KENTAINERS LTD and FAMILY Bank, members of KEWOTA are set to receive over 10,000 high-capacity water tanks. The tanks are of high quality and manufactured by the best manufacturer in Kenya, KENTANK. Pricing will be very low if bought through KEWOTA. Thanks to KEWOTA’s partnership with Family Bank, women teachers can even pay in installments for a long period without worrying about fees and high interest.
Lack of access to clean water affects women teachers’ welfare and productivity which in turn affects the output and quality of education. As witnessed by the researchers, some women teachers have to wake up as early as 4 am and go long distances to fetch water. This highly affects their attendance and productivity, their health and welfare, and security. KEWOTA is seeking to solve this through the tank project. KEWOTA water tanks will also support teachers to earn more income through farming and water reselling.

Once you contact us for your tank, the process is digitized and for financing, an official is sent to your location for paperwork. Once the process is finalized your water tank will be delivered to your home, school, or farm, and a tap installed for free.
